From Spring to Summer in a Week?!
Updated: Sep 3
Happy Monday Huskies!
Hope everyone is having a good Monday and has been enjoying the last couple of days of typical spring temperatures and sun while it’s still here! 🌞⛅
So far today we have seen temperatures in the low-to-mid-60s, which is very typical in Seattle for this time of year, as highs tend to stick around 65 degrees. Mostly sunny skies have also made an appearance today!

Tomorrow and Wednesday are looking like similar conditions as today, with tomorrow being slightly cloudier, bringing down the temperatures slightly but keeping that spring-like feel outside.⛅🌸
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, we are going to see temperatures starting to rise, as an upper-level ridge begins to cover the PNW. Setting up the end of the week and the weekend for warmer and drier conditions, temperatures rising through the 70s starting on Thursday. Friday temperatures will begin to reach the high 70s, and then by this weekend temperatures will be in the mid-to-high-80s.
Nothing like Seattle to go from winter to summer to spring back to summer-like temperatures in the span of a bit more than a month!!!
To put this in perspective, I have a couple of graphs showing daily temperatures throughout April and May so far. The green is normal temperatures and then blue is below normal, and red being above normal. This makes it clear to see how much we have moved around!!!

Well Huskies, be sure to get some summer-like attire ready for this weekend and enjoy week 7!! 💜💛
And look at these awesome clouds today!!!!!!👀
