2026 Halloween Forecast!
By: Paige Klobucnik
Hey guys! I hope y'all are having a good week so far, and are looking forward to Halloween this weekend. I wanted to give a more detailed forecast for this weekend so you guys could be prepared for whatever your plans may be! So far this week we have seen some warmer than average temperatures, and starting today we got to see the presence of some clouds that helped with cooling us down a bit.
For this evening, scattered showers and isolated storms will spread, and throughout tonight, there will be waves of rain that could pass us in the DFW area. No severe weather is to be expected though so no worries about that! There are a few upper level systems that could continue to bring rain chances into Saturday, but it should remain light to moderate. Temperatures will slightly cool with the presence of this moisture, but will still remain above normal for this time of year. Here is some climatology reports for Halloween in DFW, so you can see where we normally stick around temperature wise for this time of year. Normal maximum temperature is 72, while the normal minimum is 51, so you can see how we are trending above average for this time of year.

By trick-or-treating time on Saturday, chances of showers in DFW should remain to our east, and most of the area will dry out! Temperatures on Halloween night will range from the mid 60s to lower 70s, and with the recent rain, it should feel cool and nice! Also on Saturday, make sure to set your clocks back one hour! Daylight savings times ends on Sunday at 2am! If you are like me and work extremely early on Sunday (which I sure hope you aren’t that unlucky), this is great for an extra hour of sleep!
I hope you guys have a fun Halloween, and I will be back on Monday to talk about a potential storm system that is arriving next week in our area! Here are some old pictures of me on Halloween just for fun! :)
